Sandy soil, top quality sorts of grape-vine „Vranac” and „Kratošija”, a great number of sunny days as well as clean and unpolluted environment make it possible that „Sjekloća” vintage wine has special organoleptic traits validated and certified by Grand gold medals won at international fairs as well as by recognitions and awards received for the quality of products.

At XXIV competition of the Republic record holders in agricultural production of Montenegro for the year 2001, Mr. Milenko K. Sjekloća was awarded first prize for „exceptional results in the production of grapes wine”.

Mr. Sjekloća was awarded a special Recognition by the Municipality Bar for „bring the best agricultural producer in year 2002”.

Attachment in tradition, knowledge and experience in making vintage wine have been handed down from one generation to the next so that the foundation of „Sjekloća” wine house is the natural result of long cherishing and deep - rooted tradition.
